A four week summer conversation course starting in August 2025, aimed at learners from Intermediate to Advanced (minimum 240 hours/3-4 years prior study or equivalent), European framework levels B1/B2 to C1, who would like to practice or brush up their conversational skills in Italian and widen their vocabulary range.
Each lesson will be conducted mainly in Italian and will focus on a different topic, giving learners the opportunity to exchange views and practice their Italian in a supportive virtual environment. The focus will be on speaking, but some reading, listening and writing will also be included. Grammar will be reviewed on an ad hoc basis according to need and within the context of each topic.
Each class will last 90 minutes and will be conducted on Zoom, with materials for each week emailed in advance. A small amount of homework will be assigned each week to reinforce learning.
